Now this is a cool little blog.  It is called Soldier Systems, and it is a blog about the latest developments in equipment design for war fighting.  It is privately funded, and they cover all types of equipment and manufacturers.  I recommend reading through the archives and checking out some of the stuff that is floating around out there.
