One Response to “Weapons Stuff: ACOG RCO Scope Cap Lanyard Modification”
Also, the swivel and split ring pieces have to be purchased separately. There are no split rings on the leader. The really difficult part is threading all of this stuff together. The snap ring is a little tough to get on as well. Overall, I am pretty happy with the modification and the best part is that you can replace this lanyard system out in the field. The wire gets snagged on a ton of stuff all the time, and it is very easy to break. I am also interested in any other ideas on how to make a better lanyard system, and feel free to post it here in the comments section. -matt
