Department: Phase III – Early Works
Reports to: HSSE Manager EW
Job Purpose:
To effectively manage the security risk and provide clear, efficient security guidance to PMT to ensure minimum risk to the workforce during the execution phase of Early Works.
* To support the HSSE Manager Construction in the day to day management of security risk associated with execution of this project
* To actively ensure the security management plan is fully implemented across the project team and contractors are fully aligned to Early Works Security goals and objectives
* Develop and implement Security Plan and strategy with clear guidelines for future development of Phase III
* Implement areas of improvements and optimizations with clear actions.
Main responsibilities:
* Coordinate Security aspects for project team
* Implement plan to protect project employees, contractors, property (including intellectual) and other assets.
* Ensure project security plans are in alignment with KPO Security Management System
* Review and Audit contractor security management plans and strategies.
* Coordinate the security activities of the security contractors.
* Coordinate the efforts of the security contractors in compliance with contract obligations to highest levels.
* Contribute suggestions on improvement of security contractor’s activities.
* Ensure confidentiality of internal Company procedures and control systems to guarantee consistency of requirements.
* Support PMT in developing ITT’s for security contracts.
* Coordinate administrative activities, train personnel and develop their professional skills.
* Administer Security manpower deployment.
* Maintain a database of all security incidents and provide timely reports.
* Provision of information, assessments and reports as required for Business continuity and Contingency planning purposes in event of an emergency.
* Update and maintain Risk Register and Security Threat Conditions Management Plan on a regular basis.
* Update HSSE Manager on threat analysis, trends and proactive measures required to reduce security risks
* Manage and set up security framework for wider Phase III project
Education:
* Higher Diploma or minimum 10 years security experience in s supervisory role
Required Experience:
* At least 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
* Experience of Security requirements related to Construction
* Exposure to threat and risk analysis methods
* Extensive knowledge of RoK Security rules and regulations.
Required skills:
* High standard of verbal and written communications, including: report writing, presentations;
* Investigations (gained within a formal or large corporate environment)
* Knowledge of security systems including, access control, CCTV, ID systems
* Sound knowledge of security legislation
* Security management/advisory experience within the corporate sector
* Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills and a diplomatic and pragmatic approach to the role.
