I liked your views about transparency in the security industry. Secrecy allows sensationalist writers to have too much control over the dialogue. It is definitely the most misunderstood industry in the private sector. Self-described "experts" appear every day now to take advantage of the information vacuum. Whether we like it or not, someone is is going to speak about the industry. Insiders need to be represented and accurate information needs to be presented. Secrecy feeds suspicion and mistrust and ultimately hurts the industry.
