Position Title:  Specialist Protective Services
Job Description:

This position exists to provide guidance, direction and oversight of the personal security of the Chairman & CEO as well as his direct reports.

Assist with the physical security and risk mitigation plans and practices for the Chairman & CEO as well as his direct reports.
Evaluates specific event and travel schedules for the SLT and determines the need for physical protection. Conducts vulnerability assessments and surveys for each visit where physical protection is warranted.
Prepares schedules, logistical planning & security plans for activities and events attended by the Chairman and/or his direct reports.
Gathers local and national intelligence-related information by networking and interacting with federal, state and local law enforcement organizations as well as independent intelligence-based resources.
Provides intelligence-based threat assessments as well as physical security surveys for residences and venues as deemed appropriate.
Compiles reports and disseminates information for reporting situational awareness to the company.
Specific Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Criminal Justice or other related disciplines is preferred. The candidate must have experience in managing emergency/crisis situations and experience in physical protection. The candidate must also be able to manage multiple priorities that are sensitive and confidential in nature by utilizing thorough organizational and analytical skills. This experience is typically gained through a minimum of 10-12 years of law enforcement experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in special operations.
Additional Skills/Experience (Max of 4)
Knowledge of threat assessments, site security surveys and physical security methodologies.
Tactical & counter-surveillance program experience
Knowledge of executive protection programs
First responder & emergency medical services training & certification
Physical Requirements
The ability to work long hours and/or different times of the day and night as needed. Must be able to perform effectively in high stress situations. Medium level of physical activity is essential including but not limited to sitting, walking, lifting, searching carrying moderate weight objects.
