Exclusive–Los Zetas Responds to Jax Desmond, and Puts a Hit Out on the Company
November 6, 2009
Today I have learned through reliable sources that the Los Zetas drug cartel have put out a hit on Jax Desmond, and any of their staff that attempt to help Mexico in it’s war against the cartels.
Last month, the challenge was put out by Jax Desmond via a PRNewswire release, and that they intended on offering their services to Mexico.
The official stance of the company is ‘Bring it on’, and they will not be deterred.
My personal thoughts on the matter is that it would be a pure pleasure to see Los Zetas get a taste of their own medicine. And what really kills me on this, is the crime and instability in Mexico, has a direct impact on the security and stability of the US and Central/South America. Yet we focus on Afghanistan and Iraq.
Los Zetas and the rest of the drug cartels operating throughout the region, are vermin. They are pathetic criminals, purely focused on selling drugs and destroying any threats to that business. The people of the border areas and throughout Mexico are at the mercy of these thugs, and they must be stopped.
That is why I salute any PMC that is willing to step up and offer their services to the Mexican government in their fight against the cartels. This is where a competent PMC can actually shine. This is truly a case of good versus evil, and to me, it is crystal clear what must be done. And with Iraq and Afghanistan occupying the world’s attention and resources right now, Mexico should at least be able to use all and any means necessary to defeat their enemy. –Matt
Edit: 12/12/09- I have since dropped this company from the blog, and any support for it. I will leave this post up because of the comments below, but just for the record, stay away from this company called Jax Desmond.

Watch Out Los Zetas Jax Desmond Worldwide Offers Support To Mexico In Battling Deadly Drug Cartel
Mon Oct 12, 2009 (a quote from the news release)
“That was then, this is now”. . . says Sascha Forst, spokesperson with Jax Desmond Worldwide. “Mexico can’t deal with this struggle alone and if we don’t step up to help them, who will?”
The company believes they have the resources to assist the country with their very real and worrisome problem. The question now is, will Mexico accept their offer?

Story here.
Hi Matt,
I think it is somewhat silly to advertise something like this to Los Zetas. They, at this stage, have the upper-hand and can utilise all of their assets to locate any Jax D men coming into Mexico. Why did they feel the need to advertise this? After all, they will need to employ covert assets in their quest for intelligence – now they have simply given a warning to the baddies.
Rgds,
Eeben

Three problems;
1.) Jax Desmond is a bunch of BS. His website claims his company; Jax Desmond Worldwide is one of the “world’s leading” and “world’s largest” PMCs.
Unless I’m “out of the loop”, I’m at a total loss on this guy.
He’s not mentioned on the major “Operator’s” websites anywhere, no one on these sites knows him or even of him….WTF?
His “Operators” must have a Bachelor’s Degree!?!?!?
He’s embroiled in the Anna Nicole Smith mess, backing a “bodyguard” that’s being sued by Howard K. Stern and his website even offers a credit card.
And this is cute; WikiAnswers – Who is America’s top bodyguard? (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_is_America%27s_top_bodyguard)
Found this on funnieordie.com(http://www.funnyordie.com/jer69);
“Jax Desmond is a fraud and a loser,he has no military experience,he was barely adequate as a security guard, I wouldn’t hire this clown to guard a lamppost.”
He’s definitely trying to play with the “Big Boys”. He even tried to get on the Theater Wide contract.
And he’s got some bad history on Wikipedia… “Speedy Deletion of Jax Desmond” User Talk: BulletCatchers
This is incredible… “Jax Desmond Worldwide is a privately held offshore company and does not publish much information about its affairs. It’s estimated by various groups that their annual revenue is around $93 Million dollars, most of which comes from providing protective services.”
2.) PRN will mass distribute anyone’s “Press Release” if they have the money. There are a number of “create your own” press release firms online and Desmond has used them pretty heavily to “Front” his company’s greatness.
3.) He stuck himself into the Anna Nicole Smith media attention. He nor his cronies actually worked for her.

Oh, I almost forgot… the State of New York, where he supposedly has offices, is not licensed to do security work in NY.

Jeff,
Thanks for the comments. I know Jax Desmond has folks that read this stuff, so hopefully they can come on and answer for themselves. -matt

One more thing… you claim to have no idea who Jax Desmond is? If that's the case then how are you such an "expert" on him?

Response from an employee
1.)Jax Desmond is a bunch of BS. His website claims his company; Jax Desmond Worldwide is one of the “world’s leading” and “world’s largest” PMCs.
A: Mr. Desmond has never made any of these claims. Yes, Jax Desmond Worldwide is “a” leading risk management firm and yes, we have been called one of the world's largest.
Unless I’m “out of the loop”, I’m at a total loss on this guy.
A: It appears you are out of the loop.
He’s not mentioned on the major “Operator’s” websites anywhere, no one on these sites knows him or even of him….WTF?
A: Please clarify which website's your referring to and someone will be happy to respond.
His “Operators” must have a Bachelor’s Degree!?!?!?
A: Is this an issue or concern for you? Anyone can join the military or police service. However, our clients require a certain type of person who can blend in and relate to them and their needs. Therefore we require that all of our consultants have advanced education and not just high school.
He’s embroiled in the Anna Nicole Smith mess, backing a “bodyguard” that’s being sued by Howard K. Stern and his website even offers a credit card.
A: I'm impressed that you can read. Yes we are backing Mr. Speer. We believe that Mr. Speer has done nothing wrong. Let's not forget who is on trial for murder here. And yes, we do offer a credit card. It's just another benefit for our clients. There are a number of companies that offer credit cards. I might also mention that if we are what you claim, why is a reputable company such as American Express partnering up with us to offer this card? Or is American Express also a company you have issues with?
And this is cute; WikiAnswers – Who is America’s top bodyguard? (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_is_America%27s_top_bodyguard)
A: That's one I haven't seen before but if someone wants to call Mr. Desmond one of America's top bodyguards, who are we to argue? Judging by the discussion points it sounds like you've been making some remarks on there also.
Found this on funnieordie.com );
“Jax Desmond is a fraud and a loser,he has no military experience,he was barely adequate as a security guard, I wouldn’t hire this clown to guard a lamppost.”
A: I suppose we just can't please anyone. Although I'd question how and when this person knew Mr. Desmond, if at all. He is right about one thing. Mr. Desmond does not have a military background. If he doesn't want to hire us to guard his lamp post that's fine. We have other clients who will.
He’s definitely trying to play with the “Big Boys”. He even tried to get on the Theater Wide contract.
A: Are you one of the big boys? Or are you just someone we fired or wouldn't hire. Sounds like you have a personal vendetta.
And he’s got some bad history on Wikipedia… “Speedy Deletion of Jax Desmond” User Talk: BulletCatchers
A: I wasn't aware that Wikipedia is a reliable source. In addition I can't comment on that since as far as I know it wasn't anyone from our office who applied for the mentions.
This is incredible… “Jax Desmond Worldwide is a privately held offshore company and does not publish much information about its affairs. It’s estimated by various groups that their annual revenue is around $93 Million dollars, most of which comes from providing protective services.”
A: I'm not sure where that's from but it's certainly not any of our material.
PRN will mass distribute anyone’s “Press Release” if they have the money. There are a number of “create your own” press release firms online and Desmond has used them pretty heavily to “Front” his company’s greatness.
A: How is it that you claim our firm is bogus yet we can afford to hire PRN? Obviously the money to hire them has to come from somewhere.
Also is there an issue with marketing or advertising? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't every company market themselves?
He stuck himself into the Anna Nicole Smith media attention. He nor his cronies actually worked for her.
Did you know Anna Nicole Smith? If not then how can you be so sure. It's funny but there was a number of responses on blogs very similar to this one. Some people had theories that it was Howard K. Stern's people trying to slander our good name. Funny enough no one paid any attention to this “person with mother issues” as one reporter put it.
It's evident you have a bone to pick with Mr. Desmond. I can't say whether he'll care or not as I've never met him. What I can say is that I've worked for the company for a little over a year and I have nothing but great things to say about it. I've worked for and with many great people and the one thing that I would agree with you on was one of your first questions. The answer is yes, I think you are out of the loop.
Oh, I almost forgot… the State of New York, where he supposedly has offices, is not licensed to do security work in NY.
If you did any research as you claim to, you would notice that Jax Desmond Worldwide does not provide security services and that we don't hold that type of license. In fact I believe it says that right on our website.
Thanks for playing, sorry you didn't win.

There is a recent posting within my area with Jax Desmond. So naturally it is important to do your research on your potential employer to assess their level of awareness and credibility.
I am quite impressed with the way Marnie C answered these allegations against her present employer. It is nice to see companies embracing the internet to defend themselves.
Based on your response Marni C, I will be couriering a resume to your head office in New York for an the vacant position in Canada.

Now Tactical Forums is doing an RFI. In all honesty, Jax Desmond is not doing to well on the forums. No one knows who they are, and the claims the company is making on their website is causing a lot of problems.

I don't think there is a personal vendetta towards Jax, Marnie. . . . I just think you might be his girlfriend.
I wonder if you live in WINNIPEG CANADA as well? Also, How is it you never met him?
Do the offices in NY comprise of a living room in your home?
Don't be fooled readers. Jax's employee count is 4 people they are. . . . Himself. . Tyler Swain, Graham C Eastman, Sasha Forst. . . .
Maybe I should offer my protection services to Mr. Desmond and cronies. . . Wait I don't think he could afford it as I am higher priced than PRN.
Sincerely yours, Hahaha woooo!

This is Graham Eastman
Hey leave me out of this, I have not been associated with Jax Desmond or JDW for a while now. I left the company long before any of this ever started. I realized what kind of orginization it was and did not want my name to be involved with his. I know what level of training and experience I possess and would like to one day advance in this industry. Plainly put I realize I am a complete noob and will be venturing to further my education and training before I claim anything else. When I was with the company I tried to convince Jax to slow down and get some smaller lower level contracts and build a reputation and knowledge base but… I wish Jax all the luck but he needs to realize he is a guppy playing with sharks and that is never going to end well.

A: I suppose we just can’t please anyone.
So, correct me if I am wrong, but in this industry attention to detail is fairly important (please note the sarcasm)? So maybe, just maybe, your response is more proof of the attention to detail displayed from within Jax's company…..
I would like to hope that any company I work for could please at least one client. And I definitely wouldn’t post that they couldn’t on the internet, especially if I was an employee.

Mr Desmond has now come to the attention of the (British) ARmy Rumour SEvice (ARRSE.co.uk). Whilst the denizens of ARRSE have no particular axe to grind with Mr Desmond, they are amused by certain similarities to the Director General of the International Bodyguards Association, one James Shortt. Mr Shortt's flight's of fancy over the past 30 years are legendary but are now coming unstuck. (www.arrse.co.uk/wiki/The_Baron_of_Castleshort) Who knows, maybe Jax Desmond will pick up the baton?
