Every once in awhile I like to post unique security jobs that you don’t hear about too much.  Both of these jobs will put you in some tropical environments. Kwajalein is a little tiny island, and you will definitely be out in the sun and around water there.

There are CAG jobs all over the world, and that is a very cool gig to get into if you want to travel and hang out at embassies doing security stuff. Multiple Locations, Puerto Rico.
Located in Puerto Rico, in the areas of Ponce, Mayaguez, and Cabo Rojo, and in support of the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Services, Alutiiq Business Services, LLC provides armed Security Officers in support of numerous Federal Buildings in Puerto Rico.
The role of the Security Officer includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties. Officers must be familiar with “Post Orders” which outline responsibilities such as Entrance/Exit posts; Roving Posts; Control, Issuance and Storage of Keys; Security and Fire Systems; Building Rules and Regulations; Unauthorized Access; Response to Injury/Illnesses; and other additional duties as required by contract. Applicants selected will be subject to a background/security investigation and must be drug free and remain drug free during period of employment.
General Qualifications for FPS Contract:
– Citizen of the United States. COR may approve Lawful Permanent Residents who are currently members of the US armed services or who possess an Honorable Discharge from a US military component.
– Possess a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration.
– Be at least 21 years of age.
– Possess and provide proof of at a minimum, either a HS diploma or GED equivalency certificate or a higher degree.
– Speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English.
Meet one of the following experience/education requirements for Security Officer positions:
– Three (3) years security experience within past five (5) years, or
– An Associate’s degree, or at least 60-semester hours college credit in any field of study, or
– Three (3) years military or National Guard experience, (active or reserve) or
– Successful completion of Police Officer Standard Training (POST) course, or
– Any reasonable combination of the above.
Applicant must possess:
– Current Security Officer License
– Current Firearm Permit/License
– Current Driver’s License

•    Graduate of Military Police School (Any Branch) or
•    Graduate of a US POST Certified Police Academy.
•    2 1/2 years of Law Enforcement Experience (Military or Civilian)experience must be within the past 10 years.
•    Eligible for a SECRET Security Clearance.
