Boy, this would be a cool little deal to sit in on, if you could afford it. There will be a ton of guest speakers that would be extremely interesting to hear from, or even talk to if you get a chance. A lot of the big name security companies will have representatives there, as well as some of the top notch military thinkers (like John Nagl). Previous keynote speakers have included USAID Director of Military Affairs Col. Previous dinner keynote speakers have included Brookings Institute defense expert Michael O’Hanlon and Australian judge Geoffrey Robertson, Q.C., who presided over the Sierra Leone War Crimes Tribunal.

The Summit concludes with a guest speaker (Jacques?Paul Klein, the former UN Under Secretary General, spoke in 2007) followed by workshops. Previous workshops have focused on private contractors and Provincial Reconstruction Teams in 2007 and cooperation between private contractors and the oil, gas and mining industry in 2006.
