 Job Purpose

The Individual is expected to have sufficient training and flexibility to be able to undertake the role of a Close Protection Officer as detailed below.

The operator will be chosen for his experience, ability to work independently and without supervision.

·The Close Protection Officer provides the Client and/or Nominated Person close, physical, and protective security as well as guidance and advice in all personal security matters for the purpose of safeguarding the Client and/or Nominated person from injury

·The Close Protection Officer shall provide personal protection to the Client and/or Nominated Person(s) at all times

·The CP Operator must take appropriate lawful action in order to safeguard the person(s) concerned and ensure that they are out of immediate danger

·The Close Protection Officer shall consider, along with other matters:

a. The threat

b. Residence and office security

c. Foot and Mobile security

d.Searches

The above list is not intended to be exhaustive and can be added to dependant on the task being undertaken.

Essential Criteria

Essential

    * The Individual must hold a current SIA (Security Industry Authority) CP Licence

    * A minimum 5 Years Military or Police Service experience Preferred

    * Minimum of 3 Operational tours

    * Infantry or teeth-arm exposure

Knowledge & Experience

    * Ability to work unsupervised

    * Ability to make quick decisions and act accordingly

    * Ability to prepare and deliver briefings

    * Ability to represent Control Risks in a positive light

The Close Protection Operative (CP) title and details of the Services required may be varied from time to time upon notification
