   I thought I would just direct the readership to this site which posted three jobs that they were trying to fill.  They will not say what companies they are filling these positions for.  They do give you a location, and you will have to follow up by applying with this group directly. Reporting to the Regional Security Manager Middle East & Africa, the focus of this role is to provide operational support and advice to the Regional Security Manager in the strategic and tactical application for the physical security of all personnel and the infrastructure of the organisation. Thereby ensuring a safe working environment that supports the organisation and the aims and objectives of its core business within the region. Key to this role is developing and maintaining a synergy with the Security Program Manager in order to provide balanced program/operations support within region.

Responsibilities

·         To provide operational support in the evaluation, development and execution of regional site security strategies to oversee and support to all agents/vendors ensuring they consistently meet, or exceed, project contracts and deadlines. This should include visits as directed by the Regional Security Manager to quality assure:

–       Site security survey plans

–       Security assessments

–       Site specific risk/threat analysis

–       Training awareness programmes

All of which need to be coordinated in cooperation with local, regional and national law enforcement agencies. (more…)

This position requires an individual who has a broad range of skills and knowledge in the executive protection and security fields. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree. A minimum of five years prior experience is required as a law enforcement agent with a state, federal or international law enforcement organization, or as a corporate security professional. The Candidate must meet the qualifications required for certification as a Corporate Security Advisor as defined in Title 17 CSR 20-5.015 of the Missouri Code of State Regulations. The Chinese guards protecting the Olympic torch have been described as heavy-handed, aggressive and even thugs. Who are the men in blue tracksuits?

Wherever the Olympic torch goes, it seems controversy follows. But not as closely as the phalanx of Chinese guards charged with protecting the flame.

The team of men in blue tracksuits was first thrust into the spotlight in London, when scuffles broke out between anti-China protesters and police.

London’s Metropolitan Police said the guardians had no official role and often got in the way of officers trying to restore calm. (more…)

Overview-Shift Advisor

A five member Security Advisory Team is assigned to work with the Liberian Special Security Service’s (SSS) Presidential Protective Detail to assist in the professional development of senior SSS personnel; to mentor mid-level SSS managers; to develop systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the SSS; and assist in identifying promising SSS officers for advancement to mid and senior ranks. Advisors will provide leadership, management and supervisory oversight in areas of operations, training, personnel decisions, and disciplinary procedures. The Advisory team is not to serve in any operational capacity, but rather to act as advisors. The goal of the Advisory Team will be to correct serious gaps in the leadership and management capacity and bring the Liberian SSS to a self-sustaining professional VIP protection agency. (more…)
