Specific Job Description: Supports the Corporate Security Executive Protection group by planning, coordinating and providing security protection for senior Lockheed Martin Executives. Often on call beyond normal working hours in the protection and transportation of senior executives and visitors to and from Lockheed Martin facilities, meetings and special events. May use force of arms to carry out the mission and requires special state police commission to include applicable weapons permits. May perform emergency medical response. Performs advance trip planning/coordination with law enforcement agencies and other groups for executive visits for both domestic and international travel.
Standard Job Description: Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Security Clearance: Secret
Typical Minimums: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
