Funny Stuff: Combat Garden Gnomes
Hilarious. No yard should be without a squad of ‘Combat Garden Gnomes‘. –Matt
Garden Gnomes are widely regarded as friendly, whimsical, peaceful little creatures…
Not anymore!
I don’t know what it was that finally prompted the gnomes to take up arms. Maybe it was one too many gopher invasions. Perhaps it was the overwhelming gaudiness of neighboring plastic pink flamingoes encroaching on their ancestral homeland. Or maybe they just finally got tired of the media portraying them as travelling morons. Either way, they’ve had enough and they’re out for blood.
My gnomes stand just under a foot tall, weigh somewhere between one and ten pounds, and each one comes with your choice of either the ubiquitous M16A2 assault rifle or the venerable AK-47. Your gnome will be delicately packed in the finest imported bubble wrap, laid in a luxurious bed of gourmet packing peanuts*, and shipped directly to your door by a professional, uniformed carrier through USPS Priority Mail. For your ease of mind, you will receive a tracking number once your gnome has shipped so that you can check on his progress as he makes his speedy way from my workshop to you.

Funny Stuff: Primate Studies– Chimpanzee With AK 47, West Africa
Just as a side note, this video is obviously a fake. The original source was from 20th Century Fox and the Youtube channel it came from was called Apes Will Rise, which is a movie coming out in the near future.
But what must be noted here is the incredible viral value of this short clip. It has been out since July 6 of this year, and it already has 3,035,389 views!(and rising) The thing is also getting passed around on places like Facebook and Twitter. Why does this have value? The return on investment is what makes it valuable. The cost to film and produce this clip was cheap, compared to how many viewers have checked it out and commented on it. All because it was downloaded on youtube.
If you were to pay for that kind of ad through television or film, you would not only have to pay for the production cost, but pay the networks involved to run the ad. Viral videos are a great tool for business, because of this ROI. But it also takes imagination and luck to make a viral video that works. –Matt

Funny Stuff: Advertising On Usama Bin Laden’s Compound Wall In Abbottabad?
I read today that PETA has approached Pakistan to ask if they could advertise on the compound wall of Usama Bin Laden’s house in Abbottabad. Personally, I think they should deny it and bulldoze the compound. But if Pakistan did sell advertising space on that wall?…… –Matt
