Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Manager, Global Issues and is responsible for supervising the Executive Transportation team. This position requires an individual who has a broad range of skills and knowledge in the executive protection and security fields. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree. A minimum of five years prior experience is required as a law enforcement agent with a state, federal or international law enforcement organization, or as a corporate security professional. The Candidate must meet the qualifications required for certification as a Corporate Security Advisor as defined in Title 17 CSR 20-5.015 of the Missouri Code of State Regulations. Overview-Shift Advisor

A five member Security Advisory Team is assigned to work with the Liberian Special Security Service’s (SSS) Presidential Protective Detail to assist in the professional development of senior SSS personnel; to mentor mid-level SSS managers; to develop systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the SSS; and assist in identifying promising SSS officers for advancement to mid and senior ranks. Advisors will provide leadership, management and supervisory oversight in areas of operations, training, personnel decisions, and disciplinary procedures. The Advisory team is not to serve in any operational capacity, but rather to act as advisors. The goal of the Advisory Team will be to correct serious gaps in the leadership and management capacity and bring the Liberian SSS to a self-sustaining professional VIP protection agency. (more…)

Job Summary:

The Office of Security is looking for bright, energetic and

The selected candidate will support the Department’s goal of keeping
the Secretary and his designees staff from the very real threat of
harm.
Key Requirements:

Completion of basic Police/Criminal Investigation course (See Quals.)

Major Duties:

As supervisor for the Secretary’s executive protection team, the
incumbent will support the Department’s goal of keeping the
Secretary and his designees safe from the very real threat of harm. 
This includes overseeing the travel plans of the Secretary and
ensuring proper protection before, during and after arrival at
designated stops, handling security before and during visits and
stops; and ensuring that all laws and policies, including Federal,
state, local and international, are followed.  The incumbent will
also guide policy and programmatic efforts in the areas of executive
protection by advising operating unit heads and other senior-level
officials on matters related to security, intelligence, law
