Job Purpose
The Individual is expected to have sufficient training and flexibility to be able to undertake the role of a Close Protection Officer as detailed below.
The operator will be chosen for his experience, ability to work independently and without supervision.
-The Close Protection Officer provides the Client and/or Nominated Person close, physical, and protective security as well as guidance and advice in all personal security matters for the purpose of safeguarding the Client and/or Nominated person from injury
-The Close Protection Officer shall provide personal protection to the Client and/or Nominated Person(s) at all times
-The CP Operator must take appropriate lawful action in order to safeguard the person(s) concerned and ensure that they are out of immediate danger
-The Close Protection Officer shall consider, along with other matters:
a. The threat
b. Residence and office security
c. Foot and Mobile security
d. Searches

Essential Criteria
Essential
* The Individual must hold a current SIA (Security Industry Authority) CP Licence
* A minimum 5 Years Military or Police Service experience
Preferred
*Minimum of 3 Operational tours
* Infantry or teeth-arm exposure
Knowledge & Experience
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to make quick decisions and act accordingly
* Ability to prepare and deliver briefings
* Ability to represent Control Risks in a positive light
