Position Summary:
Ensure effective implementation of the Executive Protection program. Travel with the CEO and other executives as requested, provide travel briefings and coordinate all off site security needs.
Essential Responsibilities: Percent of Time
a) Conduct risk assessments associated with the safety and security of the CEO including physical security of the office, home and meeting venues; personal security; and the prevention of embarrassing situations. Implement appropriate steps to reduce risks. 40%
b) Develop and maintain relationships with individuals and organizations that can expedite the movement and safety of the CEO while traveling or making public appearances. 40%
c) Assist in the implementation of the goals and job outputs of the Protection Services program, including conducting security site checks of Company facilities. 10%
d) Present Security Awareness programs to ensure timely and effective communication of security related information to management and employees. Specific focus is given to the administrative assistants and receptionist staff. 5%
e) Complete additional duties, as assigned. 5%
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Security Management, Criminal Justice or Business Administration or a combination of relevant education and work experience. 3-5 years of industrial security experience in a corporate environment, 1-2 years executive protection experience. Crime prevention/loss prevention training and experience is desirable. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to work flexible hours to meet situational demands. This position is subject to 24-hour on-call status and response. Valid drivers license required. Must be able to travel with little advanced warning.
