Qualifications & Experience: Ex RMP, gendarmerie, police.Significant experience in the management and delivery of complex, multi-faceted and high value commercial projects within non-permissive or semi permissive environments.High level of integrity, professionalism and personal qualities that can effectively ensure an optimum level of performance is maintained.The ability to fully utilize ICT.
The ability to communicate effectively and coherently in written and verbal form and at all levels of an organization.Thorough knowledge and understanding of the security industry, the threats posed to western entities and personnel in hostile environments and the measures and processes which can be implemented in order to mitigate against them.Ability to perform under pressure and to strict timelines and milestones with regular interaction at board level, co-ordinating a programme of set deliverables through an appropriately structured variety of means that include programming, presentation, detailed written reports/plans and physical example.The ability to think at the operational level within the immediate environment and to execute plans effectively at the tactical level.Previous experience of the Oil and Gas Industry is desirable.Working experience of Nigeria is desirable.General DeliverablesAbility to manage all deliverables to time and to satisfaction within Risk and Security Guidelines and subject to contract.Ability to advise the management teams on all general and specific aspects of security in Nigeria through:• Detailed and accurate task-specific reports and advice as required.• The utilisation of employer, client and locally developed information sources.• The drafting and implementation of appropriately structured plans and processes.• Close liaison with and through the Country Office.• Where appropriate, liaising with other external private and public security agencies involved in assuring employer Risk and Security Management Plans.• The delivery of regular Risk and Security Briefings where and when appropriate.• The drafting and distribution of all Risk and Security “near miss” reports in conjunction with appropriate Directives.• Regularly updating in-country management on any Client requirements and overall customer satisfaction.Specific DeliverablesProvide 24 hour manning of the client Ops Room.Monitor the client Communication Systems.Provide out of hour’s point of contact for the client’s UK based staff.Supervise the contracted Security Guard Force in all client locations.Supervise the MOPOL deployed at clientworkplace.Control 2 x mobile security patrols.Control the issue of client ID Cards.Control the issue of radio equipment.Control the issue of keys from Ops Room.Monitor the CCTV system in Ops Room.Provide security briefing for overseas visitors to the client.Deal with requests for MOPOL escorts.Deal with disturbances/unruly customers when they arise.Co-ordinate security for special events and functions.Control cash float for MOPOL chop money and incentive bonuses.Monitor alarm systems in client locations.
