Reporting to the Regional Security Manager Middle East & Africa, the focus of this role is to provide operational support and advice to the Regional Security Manager in the strategic and tactical application for the physical security of all personnel and the infrastructure of the organisation. Thereby ensuring a safe working environment that supports the organisation and the aims and objectives of its core business within the region. Key to this role is developing and maintaining a synergy with the Security Program Manager in order to provide balanced program/operations support within region.
Responsibilities
· To provide operational support in the evaluation, development and execution of regional site security strategies to oversee and support to all agents/vendors ensuring they consistently meet, or exceed, project contracts and deadlines. This should include visits as directed by the Regional Security Manager to quality assure:
– Site security survey plans
– Security assessments
– Site specific risk/threat analysis
– Training awareness programmes
All of which need to be coordinated in cooperation with local, regional and national law enforcement agencies.
· Liaise as directed by the Regional Security Manager with Governmental, consular and private sector agencies, within your region, to protect and enhance the corporate security programme and business accountabilities.
· Provide operational support and advice in controlling the quality of productivity by security operators, through leadership and direction, to ensure the standards of service delivery, reporting and budgetary objectives meet or exceed expectations.
· Provide operational support and advice to the RSM in the implementation of contingency plans, for the immediate resolution of strategic and tactical applications for regional security standards, policy and procedures, through leadership and direction and embrace change to take advantage of business opportunity, for the short, medium and long term.
· Provide operational support and guidance, on the response to intelligence for the protection of the highest security threat, emergency and contingency planning with regard to executive stakeholders, executives and employees of the organisation.
·Provide operational support in the security vetting of individuals, teams and vendors to ensure compliance with corporate policy.
· Actively support cross – business group processes, programmes and projects as delegated by the RSM.
· Provide operational support to the RSM in maintaining an effective network across the business group, both internal and external, to ensure your expertise is recognised and valued to assist others in achieving maximum efficiency.
· Provide operational support to the RSM for risk/threat assessments, demonstrate a problem solving approach to preserving the business infrastructure at local and regional levels and making recommendations to support the strategic aims at global level.
· Hold risk/threat assessment reviews when delegated by the RSM, at all levels, to ensure resource management, project management and problem solving issues are addressed both internally and externally.
· Provide operational support and guidance to the RSM during any occurrence of a crisis management situation.
· Provide operational support in determining requirements for overt/covert surveillance and ensure it is commensurate with customer requirements, both internal and external. Assess the need for close protection activity and determine the appropriate resource.
· Support established exercise programs to enhance the knowledge and practical abilities of all agencies with local legislation and procedures to ensure compliance and enhance customer confidence.
· Support the communication network to include agencies with expertise in crisis management, risk assessment to terrorist threat, personal protection and CBRN to enable the organisation to protect its employees, customers and infrastructure in order to deliver its core business.

The Executive Protection Specialist (EPS) serves as a member of a team responsible for the security and protective services for the Chairman.
