Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administration and maintenance of the 3-401stAFSBn physical security program in accordance with AR 190-13, The Army Physical Security Program, Appendix F, FM 19-30, Physical security and CENTCOM OPORD 05-01 within the 3/401st Eastern Regional Command area of responsibility (RC North / East). Conduct physical security inspections and surveys in accordance with AR 190-13, CENTCOM OPORD 05-01, and as required by the ACO or his/her designee. Prepare and update the 3-401st AFSBn physical security plan in accordance with AR 190-13.
Education Required
High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid US Drivers License.
Experience Required
Five to seven years related military Physical Security experience required. Comparable civilian / Military Physical Security experience acceptable.
Specialized Knowledge Required
Knowledge in FM 19-30, AR 190-13 and CENTCOM OPORD 05-01.
Skills Required
Ability to exercise independent judgment as it applies to organizational role. Ability to use initiative and practical judgment. Must have or have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to perform effectively and efficiently in an 84 hour work week. Must be able to work in variable extremes of weather to include low and high temperatures with wind and dust environment. Must possess normal visual and hearing acuity. Weight shall be in good proportion with height and must be in sound physical condition.
